How Alexander describes Faust:
"Faust makes up a small group of growers producing wine from the hottest (or coolest!) sub-AVA in Napa Valley: Coombsville. Located just east of Napa, this is old-school country, and their flagship wine of The Pact shows the true potential of this outstanding microclimate. This is a winery you don’t want to miss."

Wines by Alexander, a Quebec wine agency, is proud to present Faust.
Faust is owned by Agustin and Valeria Huneeus, who also own other premium wineries in California including Quintessa, Huneeus and Flowers wineries. Their story starts in Chile where, during the 1960s, Agustin was the CEO of Concha y Toro. However, he quickly realized his heart was in Napa. They purchased Faust Winery in 2016, but why the name? Faust is taken from the German legend of Dr. Faust, who was tempted by the Devil to exchange his soul for youth, passion, and energy. Agustin has always been a true believer in terroir, and with Faust and especially The Pact, Agustin is able to showcase the wonderful terroir of the Coombsville AVA. This AVA is probably the most exciting sub-AVA in Napa Valley and shows a cooler and old-school style of Cabernet Sauvignon. With neighbours of Favia, Realm and Farella, Faust is leading the charge to showcase this dynamic sub-AVA. The Pact 2018 recently came in at no. 98 of the Wine Spectator Top 100 wines of 2021, a triumph for both Faust and Coombsville!
