Who we are. Vins par Alexander S.E.N.C. ("Wines by Alexander") is a wine promotion agency based in Quebec. Alexander Smith, partner, is responsible for protecting your personal information. Contact: alexander@winesbyalexander.com.

 

What we collect and why. If you sign up for our newsletter, your email address, to send it (every email has an unsubscribe link). When you contact us or place an order, your name, email address, phone number, the wines you order and the SAQ store where you will collect them, to answer you and handle your order with the SAQ. Payments are made by Interac e-Transfer; we never see your banking details. With your consent, statistics on how the site is used (Google Analytics), to improve it. We do not sell your personal information.

 

Cookies. Essential cookies keep the site working and secure and are always on. Statistics cookies only run if you accept them in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time with the privacy icon shown on every page.

 

Who we share it with. The SAQ, for your orders, and the providers that run our site and tools on our behalf: Wix (website, forms and newsletter), Usercentrics (cookie choices) and Google (statistics, only with your consent). Some of them store information outside Quebec, including in the United States and Europe.

 

How long we keep it. Order details: six years, for accounting purposes. Newsletter: until you unsubscribe. Statistics: up to 14 months.

 

Your rights. You can ask to see, correct, receive a copy of or delete your personal information, and withdraw your consent at any time, by writing to alexander@winesbyalexander.com. We reply within 30 days. You can also contact the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.

 

This site is for people of legal drinking age in Quebec (18 and over). If we change this policy, we will update the date above.
