TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Vins par Alexander S.E.N.C. (hereinafter “Wines by Alexander”, “we”, “us”, “our”) operates this website, (the “Site”). The terms and conditions set forth below govern all visits to the Site and all purchases through the Site, and as such constitute a contract between you and Wines by Alexander (the “Terms & Conditions”). Please read the Terms & Conditions carefully before using the Site and purchasing wines through the Site.
All prices shown on the Site are in Canadian dollars. Sales taxes are included in the amounts shown at checkout.
Subject to applicable laws, Wines by Alexander reserves its right to (i) change the price of any product offered for sale on the Site, as well as any promotional offer, at any time and without prior notice; and (ii) limit the quantity offered for sale of any product.
Should the price of a product displayed on the Site and ordered by you be incorrect, and insofar as this product is available, we will offer you the possibility to order it at the correct price.
Orders placed through the Site may only be processed for pick-up at the SAQ, and therefore in the Province of Quebec.
By submitting an order through the Site, you state that you are of legal drinking age in the Province of Quebec and that you are not purchasing products for anyone who is not of legal drinking age.
Modifications or Cancellations
Modifying or canceling an order you have placed through the Site is only possible prior to receiving our acceptance of your order through our confirmation email. To do so, please contact us at email@example.com.
Modifying or canceling an order you have placed through the Site is not possible after receiving our acceptance of your order through our confirmation email. Therefore, once you have received our confirmation email, your order constitutes a contract between you and Wines by Alexander, and you are obliged to collect the products you ordered when they become available.
Upon placing an order through the Site, you will be required to pay Wines by Alexander’s fee immediately by credit card or e-interact (by sending us an email). Upon pick-up of your order at the SAQ, you will be required to pay the balance, including the product(s) price, applicable taxes and fees arising from shipping and delivery, if applicable.
All orders placed through the Site must be picked-up at the SAQ store identified in our confirmation email.
The person picking up the order may be required to provide proof of age (driver’s license, passport, health insurance card, etc.). Should the person picking up the order not be the person who placed the order, such a person accepting the order may be required to provide proof of age for the person who placed the order, failure which, the order may not be released.
Upon pick-up of your order, please inspect its content immediately for any potential errors, omission, or damage. Note that it is normal that the packaging may show signs of wear.
Return and Refunds Terms
Return and refund terms for defective products are managed by the SAQ. As per our understanding of current SAQ practices, which may be modified without notice, if you consider a product to be defective, you may return it to the SAQ as long as it was purchased in the last 12 months and the bottle is at least three-quarters full. When returning a product, you will be required to provide the sales receipt.
If and when a product purchased through the Site is returned and reimbursed by the SAQ, you may submit a request to us for the reimbursement of the fee you paid upon placing your order. For such a request, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org, and note that we may ask you to provide proof of reimbursement from the SAQ.
As per our understanding of current SAQ practices, which may be modified without notice, a product in good condition may not be exchanged nor refunded under any circumstances.
